un aparato que cumple con lo que buscaba, reproducir BluRay y DVD multi región (otros equipos similares solamente son región 4 para DVD), Estando actualmente en 2023 que adquirí este equipo las APPs integradas ya están des-actualizadas u obsoletas, por lo que algunas ya no existen o tienen dificultades para verse adecuadamente, así que si se desea usar como interfase para ver contenido como por ejemplo netflix o youtube o tratar de bajar otras APPs esto ya no es posible y la resolución tampoco es la adecuada para las pantallas actuales. Este equipo lo adquirí para reproducción de mis Discos DVD region 1 y 4 y BluRay, ya tengo 6 meses de mi compra y el equipo se ha desempeñado bien

I have had this player for several months and now I don't know how I could live without it. I live in the U.S. and I have found an online video store in the U.K. that carries a huge selection of DVD's, Blu Rays, and collectible Steelbook Blu Rays. Their prices are downright unbelievable. You can get a box set of an entire TV series or even every James Bond movie from Dr. No through Skyfall for a very inexpexpensive price. But you must have a player that will play Region 2 PAL DVDs and Zone B PAL Blu Rays to play everything.
This player comes in at a very affordable price and it is very simple to use the remote to change to any DVD Region 1-8 and any Blu Ray Zone A, B, and C, as well as automatically convert PAL to NTSC.
Amazon uses a third party source to do the necessary hardware conversion to make the player all-region and all-zone. This company does an excellent job on the hardware conversion and is very quick to answer emails for tech support should you need it.
This player literally opens up a whole new world to you because you can find titles all over Europe, Australia, and the Far Eastern countries such as Japan, China, and Hong Kong, that just aren't available in the U.S. I highly recommend this player to anyone who is interested in entering a whole new world of videos.

Works Great So Far!

I've only had this a couple of days so I can't say what it will be long term, but so far it works GREAT and just as advertised. I can absolutely play a region B DVD on it in the US. The only issue was that the way it said to change the region didn't work for me (the player wouldn't turn off using the remote with the region B DVD inserted, but I just got up and turned it off, then turned back on with the remote. It worked fine and it's not THAT big of a deal to have to get up and turn it off ONLY when changing regions on the player…..) The remote works fine after that initial on and off manually.
When I first plugged it in it did a new software download, went off without a hitch AND didn't affect my "all region" capability.

I haven't purchased any other DVD/Blu Ray players so I have nothing to compare it to. All I know, so far, it works for me. I don't use it often (once a week at this point) and I've owned it for about 6 weeks. The remote works great (meaning no problems) and that makes it easy to use (as it should) … which is why it gave it 5 stars. As for the picture quality, I gave it 4 stars, but I am not sure if the player has anything to do with that as the DVDs/BluRays and the TV I use I think would be what control the quality of what I see. I am happy with it.
